With Everything Going on at Twitter, Am I Terrible for Not Leaving the Platform?
I’d hope that most people would say no, however it’s a bit of grey area
Many of us have likely heard by now about the dumpster fire that is currently Twitter. It seems like all of the big tech companies lately have been struggling with their own internal obstacles.
Between the layoffs, the economy, and the political tension within the United States, it seems like everyone across the board is slowly regressing towards a less than ideal state of operation. Of course, there are many factors that can be attributed to this chaos — the pandemic being a primary reason.
But, with Twitter specifically, it’s been a bit of a question mark as to what would actually happen when Elon Musk officially took over. We’re now seeing the consequences that have become the reality of the situation.
When the news first broke in April that Elon Musk was planning to acquire Twitter, it seemed like somewhat of a far-fetched and ridiculous notion that this acquisition would actually happen. Similar to when Trump announced that he would be running for office back in 2015, we all laughed at the delusion that he would actually win. And just look what happened there.
