I will say that I am extremely grateful to be with someone who is as accepting and understanding as my partner is and I do in fact consider myself extremely lucky.

My main takeaway of this article was to have people understand that we should respect other people’s perspective regardless of what their ethnicity is. I guess I should have crafted that better, but I’ll work on it for next time.
