Thanks for taking the time to respond, Joel. Ten years living in NYC and I couldn't even tell you the number of times I've rode the subway, but this was 100% the first time anyone has told me to stop talking. It was certainly the most uncomfortable situation I've been in and I've seen some pretty disturbing things.
