If You Want to Get Better at Goal Setting, Become a Runner
Running can be as simple or as strenuous as you want it to be and when it comes to setting goals, there are no limits
If there’s one sport that most people arguably have the biggest love-hate relationship with, it’s running. Whenever someone asks me why I love running so much, I tell them that it’s a sport I fell in love with at an early age and it kind of just stuck with me into adulthood.
In turn, whenever I ask someone why they hate running so much, they give a variety of reasons, such as “It’s kind of boring” or “It feels like more of a punishment than a sport” or “I’ve honestly never run more than a mile in my entire life” — all of which are fair arguments. It’s definitely a sport that can take time to appreciate because of the simplicity of it.
You don’t need much run. You don’t need to spend a ton of money on fancy equipment and there’s no specific time or place to do it. You just go out there and run. Easy enough, right?
