I Haven’t Written Anything in a Month — And that Surprisingly Doesn’t Bother Me
In the past, I would have called myself lazy or been disappointed with myself
We’re already one week into July and it’s pretty hard to believe how quickly time is going by now that COVID-19 has slowly become less of a threat than it was in previous months — at least, for the United States it has.
Summer is now at its peak in the U.S. and things have finally started returning to some state of normalcy again — or as close to “normal” as normal can get.
People are starting to go out more and becoming more comfortable with socializing with peers again. And with that being said, the routines that we adopted and had become so dependent on in the midst of the pandemic are slowly starting to wither away. I’ve personally noticed this happen in own life as well.
One of the routines which I’ve noticed has become much less of a priority lately is writing. Now that the weather is getting nicer each day and my motivation to be outside again has returned, writing has inadvertently taken a back seat in my daily routine.
I haven’t actively taken the time to sit down and write anything of substance in almost a month. And the weird thing is, I don’t really mind it. However, in…
