Thanks for taking the time to read and furthermore, taking the time to reply with your extensive insight.

You’re definitely one of the lucky ones to have been able to buy a house earlier on.

I do agree home ownership isn't for everyone, but we also have to consider the financial factors that come into play when individuals are deciding on buying a house - for me personally, I still have student loans I'm paying off after nearly 10 years being out of college. That's a huge factor many others are facing.

In addition, you're totally right in regards to location. I'm from New Jersey and currently live in New York, so you can imagine that prices are much more inflated here than other states. And moving to a new state is another big decision in and of itself.

Not all millennials are necessarily opposed to the idea of home ownership - it's more so whether or not we are willing or able to take that leap of faith financially.
